Viewer Updates Include a Surprise – New Imprudence

Lots of news about new viewer releases this week…

April 22 – New Firestorm release to be ready for upcoming changes in Second Life but I see on Firestorm’s website, there is a note about new features catering to Open Sim users as well.

Inara Pey has done an extensive (and excellent) review of the new Firestorm….

The feature that caught my eye is a Settings Back-Up which allows you to store a record of your favourite settings for some commonly customized items so that you can restore them easily after future Firestorm releases.

Also…

April 23 – Here’s a surprise! The first update of Imprudence in about a year has been announced. It is an “experimental” version but their blog says a full release is planned.

April 24 – Kokua has a new release in anticipation of the Second Life SSB update. Kokua has now been added to SL’s official Third Party Viewer list. The blog notes new features for Open Sim as well.

Details of both releases are here…
