Von Johin Closes French Quarter Sim

Blues guitarist-singer Von Johin has closed his French Quarter region on Second Life.

Johin gained notice outside virtual worlds a few years ago when he became the first Second Life performing artist to land a real life recording contract. An album was released in 2010.

Johin has been one of the most popular performers in SL and continues to play inworld concerts although he does not book as many dates as in the past.

Johin said on his Facebook page that a divorce caused him to decide to sell his sim.

The region is now listed by a rental company.
